  • Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time Review

Hi Sly Cooper Fans! As you all probably know, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time was released about a month ago. I have played through the game, and I really enjoyed it. Instead of being made by the previousowners, Sucker Punch Productions, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is created by Sanzaru Games. Here is the plot for the game:

Sly and the gang have disbanded. Sly is faking amnesia to create a relationship with Inspector Carmelita Fox, Murray is the champion in the demolition derby, and Bentley works on creating a time machine with his girlfriend Penelope. But Penelope disappears, and Bentley discovers that pages from the Thievius Raccoonus, the Cooper Family handbook, are beginning to disappear. Bentley gets the gang back together so they can travel through time, and try to fix Cooper history.

The five time periods that the gang visit are Feudal Japan, the Wild West, Prehistoric Times, Medieval England, and Ancient Arabia. There is also a Paris prologue and epilogue. In each time period, a Cooper ancestor is visited. The five cooper ancestors visited are Rioichi Cooper, Tennessee “Kid” Cooper, “Bob” Cooper, Sir Galleth Cooper, and Salim al Kupar, respectively.

I think that the storyline is really great, and I also liked that there are multiple pop culture references. The only big problem that I had with the game was that it was really slow when loading. I also liked the ancestors that Sanzaru picked, although I wish that there had been some more. Speaking of there being more ancestors, there is a rumor that Slytunkhamen Cooper II was supposed to be in this game, but Sanzaru removed him. Are you wondering why? Read below, and you’ll learn why.

SPOILER ALERT!!!! END OF SC:TiT TOLD!!!!!

As you can see in the picture on the right, Sly is stuck in Ancient Egypt. Allow me to explain why.egypt

The villain of the game, Le Paradox, caused a black hole to erupt in his blimp. Sly told the rest of the gang to leave, but Sly stayed so he could defeat the boss. Sly began by fighting with him inside the blimp, but was forced to exit and fight on the edge of the front of the blimp. Sly defeated Le Paradox, and Le Paradox was hanging onto the blimp for his life. Sly, out of kindness, helped Le Paradox up. Le Paradox attacked Sly, took his paraglider, and began to float off of the blimp. A plane ran into Le Paradox, he dropped the paraglider, and fell into the ocean. He was later found and imprisoned. Sly disappeared. After gaining all of the trophies in the game, a cinematic plays, and shows Sly in Ancient Egypt.

    SLY 5?!?!? ;)

Below are pictures of the ancestors featured in the game.

  • Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time update: “Bob” Cooper?!

    Hi Sly Cooper fans,

Some shocking info on Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time has been released. Apparently, instead of Slåi MacCooper being the ancestor featured in Episode 3 of the game, a new Cave-Cooper will be the ancestor. His actual name is unknown, so he is known as “Bob” throughout the game. A new ancestor wasn’t the thing that shocked me about him, it was more of his appearance. Slåi MacCooper is a really bulky Cooper, but “Bob” is by far the bulkiest Cooper I’ve ever seen. He is also missing teeth; has brown, messy fur; and has giant claws. I think that these features are improvements compared to Slåi, and I look forward to playing him in the game. Below are some pictures of “Bob”, and a leaked photo of the game’s boss as he appears in-game!

Speaking of the game, if you want exclusive DLC (and a cheaper price), hurry up and preorder Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time on Amazon.com/Target.com before Febuary 5th!!

  • Green Lantern Sly Cooper Variant Story

Here is a background story I made for the Sly Cooper Green Lantern Variant. This story may change, depending on how Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time ends. Here is a link to the page with all of the Green Lantern Variants. I would like to make a Dimitri variant as well, but I can’t find a good enough quality picture. If you find one, send it to me on my wall on the wiki, and I’ll give you credit.

In Brightest Day, In blackest night, no LOOT shall escape my sight…

Sometime after the events of Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, Sly Cooper went back to Rajan’s temple, looking for any expensive loot. He entered a building, and found an old spice shipment crate. He smashed it open, and found a green lantern ring. Bentley said, “Sly, my sensors are going crazy!Sly Cooper Green Lantern Flying It’s that ring, it must hold great power!”, so Sly put it on. He immediately was changed into a green suit with a quick flash. Confused, Sly ran on some rooftops to clear his mind.

Sly began jumping from rooftop to rooftop. He jumped off a rooftop, expecting to land on another one. He looked down, and a fast river was underneath him. Sly closed his eyes, praying that something would save him. After a minute or two, he realized that he hadn’t landed. He was FLYING. He flew back on a rooftop, even more confused than before. He thought for a minute, and remembered Bentley’s words. “…It’s that ring, it must hold great power!” Just then, a guard hit him. His ring gave him great altitude, and he fell on another rooftop, and smashed into another spice crate. After being hit into that crate, he became slightly disoriented. He started swiping his cane left and right, and a green cane appeared and hit the guard into the river. It was then that he realized that he could create green objects.

Sly went back to the safehouse and told the gang all that had happened. Then Bentley hacked into the ring, and found out what it was for. He said that he hadn’t ever heard of the Green Lantern Corps, and that he suspected it was from a different dimension. After that, Bentley made copies of the ring for each member of the gang.

  • Sly Cooper Gang Green Lantern Variants

Here are some pictures that I’ve made for fun. They are the Cooper gang, only as Green Lanterns. I’m going to also make a Dimitri Green Lantern, I just need to find a good quality picture. Here is a link that you can get to each of their pages. I might need to change some of the backstory, depending on how Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time ends.

  • LittleBigPlanet Karting BETA, Wii U, and Google: Project Glass

I haven’t updated this website in a while, so I decided to do one BIG post about all of the things that I’ve been meaning to post.

    LittleBigPlanet Karting BETA!!!
I applied for LBP Karting Beta a while back, and I got excepted! The game stays true to the other LBP games in that you can still decorate your pod, create and publish levels, and decorate your earth and moon. There are still minigames, and the level select is the same. It uses similar controls to Modnation Racers, the reason being because it is made by the Modnation company, United Front Games. The vehicles are either things from LBP, or just funny ideas. Below are pictures from the game.

    Wii U
My dad took me to a developer meet-up where they let us play the Wii U before anybody else! Wii U is the second version of the Wii. It comes with a Gamepad that has 2 analog sticks, a camera, a microphone, a gyroscope, and can also control your TV. The buttons are the four action buttons, (X, Y, A, and B.) the +control pad, the +start and -select buttons, The L, R, ZL, and ZR buttons, and the home button. It ALSO comes with a screen and a stylus. The Wii U system is compatible with the old Wii accessories, including the remotes.

Here are my favorite games that I played at the meet-up:

Donkey Kong Crash Course – In this game, the object is to roll your vehicle through the course to Princess Peach. Easy, right? WRONG. I’m 99% sure that nobody was able to get to the princess in their 3 tries. Why, you ask? Simple. You can’t got too fast, because you’ll collide with the wall. You also can’t go too slow, or you’ll topple over. on top of that, you have to move platforms with the analog sticks, and ZR and ZL. The gyroscope in the new controller senses when you tilt it back and forth, and the vehicle moves accordingly. I’m assuming that the level that was playable was NOT the first level, so by the time you get to that level, it probably isn’t as hard. (I couldn’t find any pictures for this game.)

New Super Mario Bros. U – In this sequel to the NSMBros. series, there are some new features. The first one is the Flying Squirrel suit, which allows Mario and his friends to glide once the also-new Acorn Mushroom is obtained. The next one is my favorite. Baby Yoshis appear, and have three different abilities. To inflate like a balloon, glow in darkness, and to blow bubbles to cause Koopas to float away. All three can eat guards when they are carried. The Gamepad is able to make platforms appear for the player to jump on in a certain mode. The final new feature is that you can play as your Mii in the game. The only problem that I had with it was that It didn’t have much use for the Gamepad.

Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition – This is an add-onto the original Arkham City game. It uses the Gamepad in many different ways, including controlling a RC Batarang, and investigating a crime scene. It was VERY fun to play, but I had a problem with it. My problem was that it was WAY too easy to fight. All you have to do is keep hitting Y, and he will automatically launch and attack nearby guards. I hadn’t ever played it before, and I don’t think I took any damage. But it was still an Awesome game.

    Google: Project Glass
There is a project that google is working on called “Project Glass”. It is the idea that a small machine can connect to glasses to make them into a type of smartphone. It uses voice command, and can take pictures, make phone-calls, text, give directions, show news, give the weather, and so much more. Of course, you don’t have to have glasses to use them. It will be a little bit expensive, but is still very cool. Bellow is a video, showing the features I’ve said and more.
